Our Story
Kelli and Casey met in 2018 doing what they love: working with animals.
As they got to know each other, their similarities began to show. What began as a friendship, forged through board games and Dungeons & Dragons, turned into hiking dates and trying new restaurants together.
Kelli loves recounting one story. She on her own one day, looking up renaissance fairs, when out of the blue she got a text from Casey: “Have you ever been to a ren fest, and would you want to go to one?” It was like Casey was reading her mind—the first of many times since—and a testament to their compatibility.
After a few more years in Birmingham, life took them to Florida, where they currently reside with their two cats.
In February of 2025, the couple went on a weekend getaway into the mountains of northern Georgia. Hiking a strip of the Appalachian Trail, they came upon a beautiful overlook, and it was there that Casey proposed. Immediately, they began brainstorming wedding ideas. The answer was obvious: a Renaissance Festival.
Now they invite you to join them, and to celebrate their marriage amidst the fun and merriment of the country’s largest Ren Fair! Get a taste for some of the fantasy and whimsy in which they love to partake.

AIRPORT
We suggest flying into Houston, TX. The most convenient airport is George Bush Intercontinental.
Hotel
Below are links to hotels in the Tomball area, a 30-minute drive from the festival. Some of the wedding party and immediate family will be staying at the Residence Inn (first link) and we encourage guests to stay there. The hotel has a lovely communal space where guests can relax and socialize outside of wedding events.
We strongly encourage guests to book their hotel rooms as soon as possible. Hotels in the area will fill up quickly because of the Renaissance Festival.

THE FESTIVAL
Our ceremony and reception will take place on the grounds of the Texas Renaissance Festival.
You do not need to purchase a ticket to enter. As our guests, you will have access to the festival throughout the day of our wedding!
Dress
This is a casual wedding. Guests are encouraged to dress up for the faire! You may also dress in your “Sunday best” if you would be more comfortable.
Consider bringing a change of clothes for after the reception, as well.
